NBA 2K22 has received a new roster update across all platforms. This roster update is the second one that the game has received since the start of the NBA season, which began roughly one month ago. And while there aren't a vast number of key changes in this update, the most notable adjustments come with some of the game's biggest stars.
On Thursday, November 18, 2K bumped Curry’s overall rating up a point to 97. He’s joined by fellow MVP candidate and former teammate Kevin Durant whose rating also rose to a 97. The Memphis Grizzlies’ Ja Morant and the Utah Jazz’s Rudy Gobert joined the 90 club as well with one-point increases.
Depending on how the season goes from here, they could definitely get passed up at some point by Nikola Jokic, who got a +1 in this NBA 2K22 Roster Update and is now just one point behind them at 96 OVR.
As for the losers on this patch, NBA 2K22 cover star Luka Doncic saw his rating go down to now sit at 93 overall. Damian Lillard's rating also dropped by two points to now sit at a 90. In addition, Paul George, James Harden, and Jayson Tatum also all had their ratings dip by one point.
The Chicago Bulls are off to a strong start this season and point guard Lonzo Ball has been a big part of the team’s success. Ball is shooting 45% from three while averaging 13.2 points, 5.3 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 1.9 steals and just under a block a game.
In their official post announcing these changes, 2K highlighted some of the NBA successes that led to NBA 2K22 Ratings boosts for Durant, Curry, Morant, Gobert, and DeRozan.
